I spent my childhood in a small town at the base of the Southern Flinders Ranges but came to Adelaide to study economics at University.
I’ve lived and worked here ever since.
When my husband Todd and I were choosing a place to raise our family, the North-East was our only choice.
We love the close-knit and caring community and the open space.
On weeknights, you might find me playing netball for the North-East Zodiacs at Golden Grove, or volunteering with Puddle Jumpers at Salisbury East.
The kids love exploring the trails of Cobbler Creek and we shop locally at The Grove.
We live in uncertain times, and that’s why we need to look out for each other.
I’ve spent my working life helping people. Just recently I stood with the community and helped fight the State Government’s plans to cut 1,000 bus stops- a battle we won.
I want to fight for what’s important to you:
- the best schools for our kids
- health services in public hands- not privatised
- more secure and well paid jobs for South Australians
These are values I live be every day, and I want to see at the heart of every decision made by government.
We have a great community here, but I know it can be better!
I will be out meeting people, in their homes, in the community- to hear what you think we can do to make our streets, our parks and open space better.
